Supported Battery Beacon Hardware Models Follow

With the release of Meridian Manager 1.5, the only battery beacon hardware model Meridian supports is the BT-20.

The following legacy battery beacon hardware models are no longer supported:

• LS-BT1
• LS-BT10
• LS-BT1USB
• BT-AS100

These hardware models can no longer be deployed as Location or Proximity beacons. If a user attempts to connect to these hardware models using the Aruba Meridian Manager app, the user will receive the following error message and will be prevented from configuring the beacon:

"Deploying a BT-1 is no longer supported. BT-20 is now the only supported battery beacon hardware model."

However, if this hardware was previously deployed, it will continue to operate as expected but will not support any changes to its current configuration.

Meridian continues to support all AP models with built-in Bluetooth capabilities.
