Placemarks and Personal Data

For any given location in the Meridian Editor, there’s very little data or customization that the Meridian team adds to the Editor for a location.

In some cases, there may be privacy-related issues to how placemarks can be used.

For example, if a Meridian-powered app is being used in a corporate setting, desk placemarks could be created using real people’s names.

If you’re creating placemarks using personally identifiable information, please be aware of the privacy-related legal issues to managing and deleting that personal data.
