Before adding events to the Meridian-powered app Calendar pages, you’ll need to create or import events into the Editor.
Add an Event
On the Events page, click the Add Event + button. When you’re done creating your event, click the Save button.
You can edit an event as often as you need.
This option works best for non-repeating events.
The event NAME will be the link and header title for the event. Meaningful and descriptive event names work best.
Click the START TIME field to open the calendar date picker.
Click < and > to move forward and back in the calendar. Click a date to choose it.
Click and drag the Hour and Minute sliders to choose a time.
If it’s an all day event, you don’t need a time.
Check the ALL DAY checkbox to make it an all day event.
If it’s an all day event, you don’t need an end time.
Click the END TIME field to open the calendar date picker.
Make sure to choose an event end time that’s after your event start time.
The LOCATION field lets you assign a placemark to an event. Start typing in the field to search for a placemark you’ve added to a map.
Event detail images look best if they have dimensions of at least
1000x1000pixels. We recommend using images with a landscape aspect ratio.
You can upload images in two ways.
First, click and drag an image onto the IMAGE droplet.
Second, click the IMAGE droplet, find the image file on your computer, and then upload it.
Once the image is uploaded, a thumbnail of the image is added to the droplet. To remove the image, mouseover the droplet, and then click the red trashcan.
The DESCRIPTION field is text that appears under the page header and image.
Click the B to make text bold. Click the I to make text italic.
To add a link, select text, and then click the Insert/Edit Link button. In the pop-up window, enter a Link URL starting with
To change the URL for a link, select the link, and then click the Insert/Edit Link button. In the pop-up window, edit the URL.
To remove a link, select the link, and then click the Unlink button.
To start typing a bulleted list, put the cursor where you’d like to start the list, and then click the Insert/Remove Bulleted List button.
To remove the bullets, select the bulleted list, and then click the Insert/Remove Bulleted List button.

You can use the CUSTOM VALUES field for use when making Calendar pages.
Using custom values, you can filter event content on Calendars.
For example, if you wanted to create a separate calendar for your lecture events, you could add “lecture” to a custom field. When you create the lecture calendar, add “lecture” to a custom field to limit that calendar to lecture events.
Custom values are case sensitive.
You can use the CATEGORY field to assign a label to an event making it possible to filter events by category on the Calendar.
Categories can be anything you want. When you start typing a category name, the Editor will search for that category and display any matching categories.
If there are no matching categories, the Editor will ask you if you want to create a new one. Click Edit Categories to see a list of all the categories in the Editor.
Edit an Event
Once you’ve created an event, you can edit it by clicking the edit button to the right of an event name.
Remember to click Save to keep your changes.
