Impact of Aruba Meridian AppMaker End of Sale Follow
This article describes the impact of End of Sale of Aruba Meridian AppMaker for existing and potential Meridian customers.
Overview
AppMaker was a module in the cloud-based Meridian Editor that allowed the user to create pages and contents for a white label mobile app. It enabled the customer to build a mobile app pages from using pre-defined template, customize branding and design, incorporate user-relevant data and external web pages. The templated framework enabled a venue to quickly and easily create mapping, directories, sorted list pages, event pages, calendar pages, hosted web pages, customized proxy notifications and more.
The pages and content created by AppMaker can then be previewed or published as a fully functional mobile app. The admin user can use the Aruba Meridian mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play to preview the app without having to publish it in the app stores. If desired, the pages and content already created may be published in the App Store as a white-label app without having to make any additional changes to the pages or contents.
