Mobile Priming

Starting with Aruba Meridian 4.8.0 and white-label apps built with AppMaker 4.8.0, Meridian uses mobile priming screens to explain to first-time users how the app will be using the permissions its requesting.

Users will only see these screens on a fresh installation. Users who upgrade apps won't see these screens.

Examples shown below are iOS. Android permission prompts will be slightly different.

Location

Meridian uses location to show the user a blue dot for their location on a map and for location sharing. Once the user taps Continue they'll be given the system prompt.

Notifications

Meridian uses notifications for location-based campaigns. Once the user taps Continue they'll be given the system prompt.

Bluetooth

This screen informs users how Meridian uses Bluetooth.

Terms and Conditions

If a Terms and Conditions PDF has been uploaded for your location, the user will given a chance to download and read it.
