Mapless Campaigns

Mapless Campaigns are Proximity Beacon notifications created for locations in the Meridian Editor that don't use maps. This article describes how to create, edit, and deploy Mapless Campaigns in the Meridian Editor and the Aruba Beacons app.

One significant difference between mapped and mapless campaigns is the Beacon data sent to 3rd-party endpoints. Mapped 3rd-party campaigns send the Beacon's UUID and major/minor values resulting in unique values for each Beacon.

Mapless 3rd-party endpoint campaigns, however, only send the UUID and major value. They do not send the minor value. Not only that, the reported UUID and major value is the same for all of the Beacons assigned to a single campaign.
